A tour in an other time
This mushroom farn is a former maniere where, during the 19th century untill the 20′s, countrymen digged it to extract marn which was spread in their fields.
Today 2 km of levels are used for mushroom’s culture : pleurotte and shii-také (this one is a japanese specie).
During your visit, the owner tell you too the story of this tunnel where the inhabitants of Brionne and its area were refuged during the bombing of the second World War.
The tourist office organises regularly guided tour of this cave. Don’t hesitate to ask us !
