Browse the Green road and … breathe !

The ancient railway that was connecting Evreux to Honfleur was partly transformed into a Green road between Le Bec Hellouin and Evreux by the Conseil General of Eure.

These are 42 kilometres of road destined to walkers, hikers, cyclists, rollers, skates. It is forbidden for all motorised vehicles and horses, it is also partially adapted for people with reduced motion abilities.

More than 18 kilometres of the road pass in Canton of Brionne between Harcourt and Le Bec Hellouin. While passing through forests you can also observe the landscape of the valleys and its monuments (The domain of Harcourt and the Abbey of Bec Hellouin and Monastery of St Françoise Romaine) . Along this road there are many stops (picnic areas, description panels, bancs, games for children) being realised to enable you to stop, rest and enjoy your day.

For your security we strongly advise porting a helmet while riding a bicycle or rollers.
